Mikhail Oseevskiy

Mikhail Oseevskiy was born in Leningrad (Saint-Petersburg) in 1960. In 1983 he graduated from the Kalinin Politechnical Institute holding a degree in Electrical Engineering – Electrophysics.

In 1986-1993 he worked at the Scientific Research Institute of Electrophysical Apparatus (NIIEFA).

Between 1993 and 1999 he was Deputy Director and later Director of the Saint-Petersburg Currency Exchange. In 1999 he held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board at the Saint-Petersburg Industrial and Construction Bank where he was promoted to the First Deputy Chairman of the Board in 2001.

In 2003-2011 he worked as a Vice Governor at the Saint-Petersburg Administration. Since 2011 he held the post of Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia.

From July 2012 to March 2017 he worked as Deputy President and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at the VTB Bank.

In March 2017 Mikhail Oseevskiy was appointed as Rostelecom President.
