Tele2 roaming gets stronger in Caribbean

Moscow – Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, is opening roaming on the Digicel network in the Caribbean Islands. Automatic voice roaming and mobile Internet are now available to the company’s clients.

Tele2 clients may now use roaming on the Digicel network in the territories of the Caribbean region: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guiana, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Panama, Salvador, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Surinam, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands.

In these territories, Tele2 subscribers may use voice services in roaming at 65 rubles per a minute of incoming and outgoing call to all directions. The traveler will pay 12 rubles for one MMS or SMS.

Tele2 clients may connect the “Talks without borders” option that gives an opportunity to take phone calls at 5 rubles per minute. A subscriber daily fee totals 5 rubles. Users may activate the option in their personal account or by sending a USSD request to *143*1#.

Tele2 is also offering its subscribers high-speed wireless Internet at affordable prices: 1 Mb of data will cost 50 rubles per day. Clients may cut their expenses on Internet by having connected “Internet abroad”. The option allows its users to download 10 Mb of traffic for 300 rubles.
